I'm back, I'm black, I'm madder than a heart attack
Back at work after a week having sleazy cheesy fun on the Gold Coast.
A quick recap:
Day 1: Flew Tiger Airways, from a terminal/ shed 10 minutes walk from the other terminals. Was half an hour late. Then another 5 minutes walk to the plane. Can’t complain for 10 bucks. Got to the airport, got the hire car, drove to the holiday apartment, grabbed some takeaway, slept.
Day 2: Drove to Brisbane for the day. At least that was the plan, until we got there, didn’t know what we wanted to do, finally found a car park, found out it was $12 FOR THE FIRST HALF HOUR after we got in, went for a walk around the block, got back into the car (50 minutes=$18), couldn’t find another car park, and decided to drive back. We were back by lunchtime. Spent the afternoon playing minigolf before walking around looking at the tourist freakshow in the evening.
Day 3: Warner Brothers Movie World. Rode the rollercoaster until I got bruised, and them some. Bought lots of photos of us on rollercoasters. Oh, and they accidentally upgraded our tickets so we could get back in anytiime over the next few weeks. Pizza. Bed.
Day 4: Seaworld. Saw the dolphins, seals, sharks, and polar bears. Of course getting near them would have cost us money but it was a more sedate day than the night before. Celebrated Steak and a Blowjob Day with dinner at Hooters before going on to the Wax Museum.
Day 5: Back to Movie world for a few hours before the plane, to get a few more momentos and ride the coasters a couple of more times.
I should go work now.
